How To Load the Monarch Marking Model 1136 Labeller

!

STEP 1

Hold the Model 1136 Labeller in your right hand

STEP 2

There are two latches, one on either side of the top cover (red arrow).

Pull these two latches towards the rear of the labeller and swing the top cover open completely.

STEP 3

You will hear a click when the top cover is open completely. Do not force the cover past this click position.

As the top cover is opened fully the two round label roll holders will separate (red arrow).

STEP 4

When loading a new roll of labels you will find that the first few labels are glued down to stop the roll from unravelling.

Undo this glued down section and discard the first 200mm of labels. We have included extra labels to cover this wastage.

STEP 5

Place the label roll between the two round label holders.

Drape the label strip across the labeller and over the metal peel bar at the front of the labeller.

DO NOT thread the label strip through any rollers inside the labeller.

The label strip should hang out 100mm to 200mm past the metal peel bar.

STEP 6

Hold the labeller upside down. Squeeze and hold the trigger.

Feed the label strip over the plastic roller and into the large slot under the arrows (red arrow).

Hold the label strip in place and squeeze the trigger 8 times until the label strip feeds through the rear exit. Remove any loose labels at the front of the labeller.

The labeller should now be loaded and ready to use.
