MTA Octagonal Bowls are made from SAN Acrylic. This plastic has better general chemical resistance than many other plastics, making these bowls easy to clean and resistant to staining by food and meat acids. SAN Acrylic plastic is cheaper than several other plastics and this is reflected in the lower prices for these bowls. SAN Acrylic has a good combination of rigidity, strength and toughness.
These Octagonal Bowls are made by MTA, an Australian-owned, family business that has been making food display containers for over 35 years.
