The barrels are made from tough ABS plastic, not timber unlike traditional wooden barrels, making them easy to clean and maintain. They have a wood texture finish on the outside with look-alike black banding that simulates the metal banding on real barrels.

For most fresh food displays the optional melamine inserts are an essential accessory. These are used to 'dummy-up' the displays so less stock is required to give the impression of fullness and abundance with less stock.
