Ceres was a kind and benevolent goddess to the Romans and they had a common expression 'fit for Ceres' which meant impressive and imposing. Many of our customers have found these bowls to be an impressive way of setting up displays in delis, salad bars, butchers, seafood and hotel buffets. And at a low cost.

Some customers use one colour for all of their display. Others mix the colours to create zones for different product groups, like salads and antipasto, smallgoods and poultry. Zoning also makes it easier for customers to scan the whole display and focus on what they are looking for.

Ceres Bowls are one of the few collections where low-cost, clear PVC lids are available. These lids will help stop your food products from drying out or otherwise deteriorating particularly at night.
About Optional Lids
The lids available for the Ceres Bowls are a lightweight, low-cost clear lid designed for short term use. They will help prevent the drying out of your food products. They are made from thin PVC plastic similar to the plastic used to make Coke bottles. They will not last forever. If used with care expect 12 months use before they need to be replaced. This shorter loife is reflected in their low price.
